THE MISSION OF THE SCHOOL COUNSELING PROGRAM

This program is designed to support the school's mission. It promotes and enhances each student's academic success by utilizing the school counseling areas of academiccareer, and personal/social development.  The counseling program is built on a strong foundation, operates a thorough delivery system, uses an efficient management process and systematically maintains accountability.

 

The Math & Science Counseling Program Is Implemented Through:

    • Consultation
    • Coordination
    • Collaboration with students, parents, teachers, administrator,and other professionals
    • Counseling - Individual/Small Group
    • Classroom Guidance Lessons 

 



Special Services Coordinated Through Counselor's Office:

    • Backpack Program
    • Lunch Buddy Program
    • Vision of Hope
    • Easter Sew-In
    • Thanksgiving/Christmas Help (when available)
    • Mid-South Health Systems Referrals (School-Based Program)
