Students who walk home in the afternoon must leave campus at the 2:50 bell at the end of the day. You are not to hang around any part of campus after school. Failure to leave campus will result in discipline.

9th Grade Students: You have an opportunity to participate in the Congressional Youth Cabinet.  This is a year long program that allows students to serve with current state senators through the policy making process to gain an understanding of how Congress works. Additionally, students will gain exposure to the legislative process and help solve currently issues facing young Americans.  The program will allow students to gain a solid understanding of how they can make a positive difference in their community and country.  If you are interested in the Congressional Youth Cabinet, please see Ms. Kelley.

CURRENT 7TH GRADE BOYS- Tryouts for next years 8th grade boys basketball team will be held on Wednesday, May 16 from 3:00-5:00 in the gym. You MUST present an updated physical to participate in the tryouts!

Attention 8th graders...If you did not receive a "Job Shadowing Packet" you can pick one up from YOUR Career Development Teacher, either Mrs. Watts or Mrs. McElhaney.  Also...remember you MUST contact the person you are wanting to shadow and get their permission BEFORE you turn in your signed form.
All BETA Club members need to be sure to turn in any current service hours to Mrs. Exum or Mrs. Hodges. Please check Google Classroom regularly for volunteer opportunites.
FBLA members who entered a competitive event and are going to the Spring Conference need to come by Mrs. McElhaney's room to pick up a permission slip and pay their $6 conference fee by Wednesday, April 11.
Junior High volleyball tryouts for current 7th and 8th graders will be Thursday, April 19th in the MacArthur game gym from 3:30-5:30.  You will not be allowed to tryout without a current physical.
Volleyball and basketball tryouts for upcoming 7th graders will be Monday, April 16th and Tuesday, April 17th from 4:00 - 5:15.  Coming to both days is not mandatory, but is highly recommended.  You will not be allowed to tryout without a current physical.
Dance Team tryouts will be April 16th-20th! After school, in the VPA dance room (storm shelter) from 3:30-5:30Monday-Friday, tryouts Friday. Boys and girls both very welcome and encouraged to tryout! A current physical is required to be able to tryout. Packets are in the office! 
Caitlin Poe, dance team sponsor for Mac is hosting a clinic for students interested in trying out for dance team this year, both boys and girls. This clinic is just to have students feel more at ease about trying out and have them learn some dance team technique! They will need a physical to participate.  Information may be picked up in the Counseling Center or the Admin Office
