Field Trip Instructions

Field Trip Instructions:

NOTE: All teachers must get the approval from their building principal (many of the building Admins. will enter the trips for you).


You must have a log on name and password to request a trip.  If you need a name and password please email for this information. Once you have obtained the name and password use the following instructions to complete request.

Once you have logged in you will need to click “request a trip” in the top left hand corner of the screen.  Once this page is up you will need to fill in all information except the “PO Number” field.

Under “trip type” and “account” you will select either “athletics or field trip”.      

The “destination” field is populated with many destinations that have been used in previous trips.  If you do not see your destination you will select “click here to add new destination” located to the right of the destination field.  You must fill in all boxes when adding a new destination.  Once the new destination has been entered you will be required to choose it from the drop down menu. 

The arrival and departure date and time under your “destination” tab must fall between the “departure date” and “return date” under the “origin” tab.  If they don’t it will give you an error. 

If you fill something out incorrectly or omit a required field you will get an error telling you what is missing.  If you have issues and cannot complete the request you can call Mickey or Stephanie at the Transportation Dept. at 870-933-5870.  Also if you have waited and it is inside the 10-day window you can contact Mickey or Stephanie and we can get the request entered for you.
